Super Yummy Banana Bread

We make this usually every week for snacks and breakfast. I substitute whole wheat flour..and use bananas and chocolate liberally!

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs, beaten 2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas I also add a cup (or more!!) of chocolate chips!

DIRECTIONSPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

Getting Out of Debt..Changes!

Andrew and I are getting serious about getting out of debt. Here are some changes we are making in our life.

1) Cut our grocery budget in half while still eating fresh and healthy food.

2) Getting rid of cable

3) cleaned out our storage unit

4) no more buying magazines or books- use library only

5) no more renting movies- library only

6) Lindsay garage saleing limited to 5 dollars a week

7) No eating out ( we dont do this anyway) but inlcudes fast food

8) shop for cheaper car and health insurance

9)de clutter, donate, and sell all stuff we dont "need"..helps create a simpler menatlity and mindset ..get rid of "stuffitis"....

With all of this we should save about 500 a month which we will put towards our debt snowball! We cant wait to sww God bless this and multiply it to help us get out of debt ASAP!

I would love to hear how you cut back and save money without sacrificing quality of life!
